Animal print can be intimidating, especially for curvy women. For years “style experts” have told us that anything print makes you appear larger. Although this is somewhat true, a few factors should be considered. It mostly depends on the print type where it’s placed on the body and how you style the piece.
I typically only buy tops because I’m bottom heavy. As I mentioned before, prints can make you appear larger depending on where it’s placed. I find that wearing print on top with a darker bottom gives my outfits the perfect balance.
I’ve always been a fan of anything leopard print, but recently got into snakeskin. For the past few months I’ve been gradually adding a variety of animal print pieces to my collection.
What are your thoughts on the animal print trend? Have you added any pieces to your spring collection? Let me know in the comments! -xo Lorean 💜
